About STECIS

STECIS is a foundation that offers training in the underwriting of Trade Credit Insurance and Surety bonds with the aim of promoting knowledge and professionalism. STECIS is endorsed and supported by Exporta and the International Credit Insurance & Surety Association (ICISA). STECIS develops and organises training seminars, in-company training programmes and conferences. All programmes offer a unique networking opportunity and are highly intensive and interactive with the highest standard of knowledge sharing. Training is aimed at those working in trade credit insurance and surety. Professionals from outside the industry (i.e. media representatives, bankers, credit managers, insurance supervisors, risk managers / analysts, legislators and regulators) also benefit as the STECIS programmes deliver a unique opportunity to expand knowledge and experience. The STECIS training seminars are two day events and deliver (technical) knowledge. For professionals with less than three years working experience, STECIS offers basic training seminars on underwriting Surety bonds and Trade Credit Insurance. For more experienced professionals STECIS has developed ‘Capita Selecta’ training seminars on Trade Credit Insurance and an ‘Advanced’ training seminar on Surety. Additionally, STECIS organises conferences on special interest topics or tailor-made in-company training. STECIS tutors, trainers, speakers and coaches are industry experts with extensive international experience in their field of expertise.
