About SQN

Conditio Sine Qua Non The indispensable and essential action, condition, or ingredient. SQN started back in 1988, as the first Erasmus University of Rotterdam spin-off. First activities were related to real-time image processing for the department of Biomedical Physics & Technology. As a tangible result an eye tracking system was developed in close partnership with TNO and Philips, applied for IPM in Rotterdam (testing amongst larger population the effectiveness of advertisements). As a second activity the focus was related to Executive Information Systems and Business Intelligence. After a break of nearly 20 years, SQN started to invest in the SME market, impacting business results by active involvement and by financial investment. First target that was successfully handed over is Patientline from the Netherlands (www.patientline.nl).
