Abarka in a nutshell... Abarka Packaging Solutions BV started developing and innovating in the food sector during the last century. Back then we were already pioneering ways to improve the shelf life of prepared fruit and vegetables by 50%. We were also responsible for introducing: the 1st salad dish, laser-perforated film and a new generation of steamed meals. We also developed the Fresheur process (a very gentle form of pasteurization) for fruit juices and vegetable soups, followed by the patents for IPS® (intelligent preparing solutions) and the SkirtAll® design. We created these packaging designs while we were developing food concepts which are still successful on the market today. Successful packaging developments led to the creation of Abarka Packaging Solutions BV in 2009. The packaging concepts are improved and suitable for more market segments and region.
