S.O.U.L is an allround feel-good coverband from the Netherlands.

S.O.U.L plays pop & soul music with a little bit of everything including motown, rock & roll and funk. With nostalgia and fun being the starting point, the band’s repertoire is a mixture of ‘groovy’ older and more recent hits guaranteed to make you dance and sing along.

The name S.O.U.L originates from the fact that the band pours their heart and soul into their performances and music. And so, it’s only fitting to share this passion for music through the band name as well. Hence, the name S.O.U.L. The fact that the name fits the repertoire perfectly, is a complete coincidence. The band was established as Renee de Ruijter & Friends to perform at a business event in 2022.
