SocialClimate.Tech is a non-profit organization based in Glimåkra, Sweden, with roots in the forest industry but a focus on the future of technology and sustainability.

We build climate-conscious digital tools, run hands-on training labs, and publish work that challenges the status quo of tech development. Our approach is hyper-local, resilient, and people-first, proving you don’t need to be in Silicon Valley to create meaningful digital solutions.

We are:

Educators – running labs in AI, data, media literacy, and environmental sensing

Builders – developing internal tools with low-emission infrastructure and recycled hardware

Publishers – helping individuals and organizations tell their stories with impact

We believe every community deserves tools tailored to their needs, not just adapted from global platforms. That’s why we design systems from scratch, prioritize reuse over scale, and support open, grounded digital education.
