De Stichting SKW is dé Wijchense welzijnsorganisatie. De SKW is werkzaam op het brede terrein van welzijn en samenlevingsopbouw. En daarmee is ze actief op vele beleidsterreinen: opbouwwerk, sociaal cultureel werk, jeugdbeleid, maatschappelijke dienstverlening, onderwijs, veiligheid, wonen en zorg. De doelgroepen van de SKW zijn even breed als de beleidsterreinen: vrijwilligersorganisaties, bewonersgroepen, kinderen, tieners en jongeren, onderverdeeld in de leeftijdsgroepen van 4 tot 12 jaar, 12 tot 16 jaar, 16 tot 24 jaar, 24 jaar en ouder.
