SHELTERBOX is an international Rotary Club project aimed at providing emergency shelter to those in need and hit by disaster, natural or manmade. SHELTERBOX the NETHERLANDS (founded 27 Aug 2009) is the official national affiliate in The Netherlands of the SHELTERBOX trust (UK), since 22 April 2010 SHELTERBOX the NETHERLANDS is a Foundation (stichting) under Dutch Law, as well as a general welfare insititution ("ANBI-Stichting"​) under Dutch Income Tax Regulations. see www.shelterbox.nl and www.shelterbox.org
