About SEC Sociologisch EpiCentrum

Sociologisch EpiCentrum (SEC) is the study association for all sociology students at the University of Amsterdam. Currently the 38th Board of SEC.

Directed by the Board, SEC includes seven committees, which organise both social and study-related activities to bring students in contact, and to provide academic and career related opportunities. SEC also organises a book sales where members can buy their study books at a discount at the beginning of each semester.

We organise weekly drinks on Thursdays, study trips, parties, open podiums, lectures, career-related events and much more! Since 2020, SEC also has a podcast. You can listen to it here: https://linktr.ee/unapologetic.sec
