About Rotterdam Port Promotion Council

The Rotterdam Port Promotion Council (RPPC), founded in 1933, acts as intermediary for its 280 members, companies which are active in and around the port of Rotterdam. As a promotor of the port and maritime industry, the RPPC arranges specific and general promotion aimed at retaining and expanding both cargoflows via the Port of Rotterdam, and services in other port activities and logistics.

The RPPC puts the port of Rotterdam on the world map. In practical terms, this means that the RPPC brings its members into contact with each other and with potential customers by arranging promotional trips and business receptions in the port of Rotterdam and by participating in trade fairs. Members include shipbrokers, forwarding agents, stevedores, financial services providers etc. and also the Rotterdam Port Authority, the Rotterdam Chamber of Commerce and other relevant trade organisations.
