About Rotterdam Global Health Initiative

The Rotterdam Global Health Initiative (RGHI) is an interdisciplinary global health research and teaching network at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. Four institutes currently lead and fund the initiative: Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management (ESHPM), International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Erasmus Medical Center Department of Public Health (MGZ) and Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) with Igna Bonfrer, PhD currently serving as the initiative’s Director.

We work through equitable partnerships with knowledge institutes, policy makers and other organizations in low- and middle-income countries and have >250 members globally.
