At Roots to Rise we deeply study nature to awaken our ecological consiousness. In order to understand the roots of our existence we need to understand ecology and the way everything is interconnected. The depth of this interdependence is far more complex than we often grasp. The Art of Deep Ecology is a course in understanding, through practice, our own nature, our roots, our ecology and purpose as human beings on earth in the web of life. Our biggest and most inspiring teacher in life is nature. How can we learn from nature about healing and cooperation? How is it that a tree can live so elegantly on this earth? And how can we lean to do so too? Through intentionally exploring the outdoors, sharing old and new knowledge and art about nature and ecology and inspiring stories about practices that (re)connect us, Roots to Rise aims to heal our connection to the earth, to ourselves and our loved ones, and to protect and cherish all life.
