About RESILIENCEpoort
RESILIENCEpoort is a network association within the international press center Nieuwspoort. RESILIENCEpoort provides an international platform where representatives of the industry, government, science and politics can discuss and shape the (important) development of policy on critical infrastructure. We want to make people aware of the importance of resilience and what kind of impact it has on society. The end goal is to share knowledge and work together in building a resilient society.
Interconnected environmental, energy and economic crises of the 21st century are posing complex challenges to communities around the globe. Traditional methods of urban planning, design and governance are ill-suited to face these new realities. A siloed, centralized and hierarchical approach towards the shocks and stresses our society faces won’t work. Challenges can only be met by joining forces and sharing knowledge.
By bringing together industry leaders, research institutes, governmental influencers and other stakeholders, RESILIENCEpoort aims to build strong alliances which turn global challenges into opportunities for international business.
