RAYS was founded in 2001 as a freelance agency for creative engineering & concepts.

The focus of RAYS is on system integration, combining theming, mechanics, electronics and robotics in the most creative way. The phrase “creative technologies” was on my business card from the start (as a freelancer in 2001). That blurry goal has become ever more clear in recent years and is now actually and in a concrete way manifesting itself, resulting in a fully equipped workshop of about 200m2, with 3D printing machines, CNC machines, welding tools, laser cutters...all tools to create great stuff. Projects are international. We design and build themed robotic installations and interactive games for leisure and retail. Working from concept to completion and installation on site, in Europe, USA, and the middle east.

Services include: Concept design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Software Development, Animatronics, Prototyping, Sculpting.

Projects can be “design and built”, which means that we work from first sketch and concept through to 3D engineering, prototyping and production, often in close cooperation with other expert-partners in various fields.

We are always interested to meet: electronic engineers (prototyping and pcb design), 3D engineers/modellers (fusion360), software programmers (full stack), 3D animators & gamedevelopers, hands-on-production (machines & manual tools).
