Properties of RAW Paints’ paint powder: • it is a mineral paint powder, made from mineral raw materials • the paint powder contains raw materials that are waste materials from other industries; a step towards the circular economy • the paint powder contains no solvents • the paint powder once mixed with water ensures adhesion with the surface (minerals, stones, untreated surface) and therefore does not peel off • the paint ensures adhesion to walls that suffer from a high moisture percentage in the stone

Behind this company lies the power of Willemijn Wortelboer. She is idealistic. She wants people to be aware of the use of everyday products. In order to create this awareness, she has commissioned painting houses in her home town. She and her partner stood on the ladder to paint themselves, introducing others to RAW Paints and the phenomenon of paint powder and do its yourself paint.

Together with the positive results from the research carried out by TNO / TUV Rheinland; a Class 1 paint on adhesion and UV resistance, she has a long term vision with RAW Paints: She would like to sell a white house instead of just paint. This indicates that RAW Paints stands for sustainability and service. RAW Paints works with experienced, committed painters and together they give the guarantee that one will keep a white house.
