Welcome to Praktijk Stap-A. My name is Amber Reuling, I am working as a psychologist. I completed my master's degree in health psychology at the University of Amsterdam. After that, I followed several additional educations and courses to further expand my knowledge regarding psychology, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Schema Focused Therapy ( SFT). I am currently training to become a holistic therapist.

I treat people with various psychological complaints. These include: depression, anxiety, trauma, stress and burnout, negative self-image and problems regarding grief. If your complaint is not listed and you are curious whether I can help you, you can contact me via the contact form.

Within the treatment it is important that someone feels safe. From a safe and sincere therapeutic relationship, you can work on reducing complaints, processing past experiences and strengthening and increasing your powers. I think it's important to connect with the person. Including the way someone learns or takes in information. This can be based on understanding and knowledge, in a creative way or, for example, body and/or emotion-oriented. Within the treatment I think it is important that someone feels safe. From a safe and sincere therapeutic relationship, you can work on reducing complaints, processing past experiences and strengthening and increasing someone's powers.
