Artist Pop Art , paintings and sculptures Franz Bodner Franz Bodner, who was born in Klagenfurt in May 1966, spent his youth in the idyllic landscape of the Austrian Alps where he also studied decorative art, metalwork and design. After a sideways step into the healthcare profession in Vienna, in which a successful career was his for the taking, he decided to give free rein to his creative talent for painting. With good reason, too – numerous exhibitions were to follow in different galleries throughout Austria. Vienna proved to be the genesis of his creative career. When Franz decided in 1995 to move to the Netherlands, it seemed he would have to make a completely fresh start. Nevertheless, after a total of 16 years’ patience, ambition, professionalism and an unshakeably positive attitude, Bodner has achieved many successes in the Netherlands and his international career has become a reality.
