About PhD Council of the Graduate School for the Humanities Groningen

The PhD Council of the Faculty of Arts' Graduate School for the Humanities (GSH) represents all PhD candidates within the GSH. It consults with the Academic Director of the Graduate School and councils of other Graduate Schools on a regular basis. Unofficially, it also represents the interests of PhD candidates towards the Faculty Board.

The PhD Council strives to inform all PhD candidates at the GSH on relevant topics such as the development of the Graduate School, (practical) information for (new) PhD candidates, and co-operation opportunities at University level. The PhD Council social function consist of offering all PhD candidates of the GSH the opportunity to get to know each other informally by organizing monthly drinks.
