Pharox: a revolution in lighting The Pharoxled-lamp offers a direct replacement of existing light bulbs and saves energy without concessions to lighting quality and lighting atmosphere. The lamp uses up to 90 percent less energy than an incandescent bulb and is more energy-efficient still than a CFL lamp while giving off a warm white light and is, in case of the Pharox300, dimmable. Moreover the Pharoxled-lamp has a much longer lifetime. That’s not just a good deal for consumers, but also for our planet. Pharox is a brand of Lemnis Lighting B.V. Lemnis Lighting is a forerunner in the field of sustainable lighting solutions, based on led technology. Early 2009, the company won the World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneer Award 2009, as well as the World Bank’s Lighting Africa Award. In November 2006, Lemnis introduced the first led light bulb that can realistically be viewed as an up-to-par replacement of the incandescent light bulb.
