The Pharmafilter installation cleans hospital waste water for reuse and converts organic materials to energy.

The Tonto grinds up any unusable materials generated by the department easily and hygienically and is connected to the Pharmafilter system.

Pharmafilter provides a range of innovative solutions. We develop bioplastic disposables that helps to create simple, efficient and hygienic care processes. Among other products, we developed a bioplastic bedpan (Olla) and men's urinal (Botta).

Communal water treatment plants don't succeed in purging medicines and other micro pollutants from waste water. Pharmafilter succeeds in treating hospital waste water to such an extent that medicines and its residues, as well as multi-resistant bacteria, antibiotics etc. are removed and will not leach to surface water, where it has a harmful impact on water quality and ecosystems.

While the demand for care is growing, society is also imposing ever-stricter requirements on hospitals. They are expected not only to cure patients, but also to contribute to a sustainable society.
