About PH-Consulting

My name is Peter Hoogenboom. In March 2023, after having worked for 39 years at different companies in the exciting world of Embedded Software, I founded PH-Consulting and started to work as an independent consultant.

I offer services in the area of Embedded Software development (including tools and RTOS), where the focus is on Functional Safety for various domains: Automotive (ISO 26262), Industrial (IEC 61508), Railway (EN 50128 / EN 50657) and derived safety standards.

My service includes reviewing safety case documents under development, such as: Safety Plan, Technical Safety Concept, Software Requirements Specification, Software Architecture/Design documents, Test specifications etc. This typically involves interactive discussions with the development team and safety manager of the project.

I also assist in (technical) due-dilligence activities, when a company acquisition is planned or pending.
