Pelli. was founded with the idea that fashion has to look good, but can also contribute to a better world. The pelican bird that inspires our logo is famous for the symbolism of the mother pelicans. This symbol is rooted in ancient legend, the legend said that in times of famine, the mother pelican wounded herself, striking her breast with her beak to feed her young with her blood to prevent starvation. Our company wants to contribute in a similar way, that's why for every piece of clothing or apparel you get at Pelli a portion of your purchase is donated to end starvation all over the world, starting in our home city of Amsterdam
