We are the center in Groningen for hand surgery and plastic surgery. Our expert hand surgeons use a revolutionary technique called WALANT (Wide Awake Local Anesthesia No Tourniquette). We perform hand surgery without the discomfort of a tourniquet.

In our clinic the patient journey is truly centered around the patient. After the multidisciplinary evaluation in conjunction with our in house specialized physical therapy's certified hand therapists, we use the principle of shared decision making to decide the right course of action with our patients. By identifying specific patient goals and symptoms, the treatment can range from conservative hand therapy to hand surgery with postoperative follow up and hand therapy to maximize the result and regain full functionality.

We believe, by using shared decision making and setting specific patient goals we can increase patient engagement and achieve the best possible results.
