About P60 - Venue for Pop Culture AND Media

Since P60 opened its doors in 2001, it became the cultural heart of Amstelveen, The Netherlands. P60 hosts hundreds of concerts, clubnights, workshops and other events every year. Besides the concert venue, P60 hosts a bar/café where visual arts and photography expositions are held regularly. The venue's activities, that draw in around 45.000 people per year, are managed by a small team, four European volunteers (European Voluntary Service) and over 70 local volunteers - P60 is deeply rooted in the local community. P60 operates in an international environment, working with Trans Europe Halles (www.teh.net) and Erasmusplus (www.welcomeurope.com). This results in many inspiring exchanges and other projects in which we cooperate with other cultural centers throughout Europe.
