About ONORA

Onora produces ecological coffins. We are the only company in the market producing a coffin which is 100 percent sustainable. Our coffins are fully biodegradable. There is no pollution in the soil, or in the air after combustion, according to the philosophy: “from Cradle to Grave”. Onora is an initiative of Marieke Havermans. She studied at the Institute of Industrial Product Design and has been working in the packaging industry since 2000. With this background in materials and manufacturing, they became available to everyone. The idea for the development of a truly sustainable and stylish coffin Onora is a new player in the funeral industry. A player with a fresh look at a traditional market. We want to increase the supply in this industry by initially releasing truly sustainable coffins that are just beautiful and have a fair price.
