Predictive Maintenance evaluates the condition of installations by carrying out periodic (offline) or continuous monitoring of (online) installation conditions. The oil condition of the installation is one of the most important indicators to determine the overall installation condition. By continuously monitoring the oil condition, first signs of wear and tear, water, reduction of lubrication properties, pollution are detected. This is the only way to achieve the ultimate goal of maintenance at a scheduled time when the maintenance activity is most cost effective and before the equipment loses performance.
