About Navigating Complexity

Navigating Complexity was founded by Philippe Bailleur and Annette Meulmeester and supports organizations in adapting to an increasingly complex reality, one in which familiar approaches to problem-solving no longer suffice. We work with organizations, leaders, and professionals navigating uncharted territory, where sensemaking, collective capability, a supporting organizational design and the quality of dialogue are key.

Today’s turbulent environment places growing demands on organizations and leadership. Organizational development is no longer episodic, but continuous, requiring the ability to learn, adapt, and move with an unfolding and uncertain reality.

We travel alongside organizations over time, working with the system as a whole. Rather than offering predefined solutions, we explore which practices and ways of working genuinely support the development that is needed.

We view organizations as living systems, embedded in a wider ecosystem, with their own histories, sensitivities, and aspirations.

Working with emergence lies at the heart of our approach. We support leaders and teams in engaging in staying present with what is unfolding and in working with underlying dynamics, including system trauma, in a careful and trauma-sensitive way.
