The NASA Space Apps Challenge Amsterdam isn’t just a hackathon — it’s a global celebration of innovation, creativity, and collaboration. And right here, at your local edition, doors are opening to thinkers, builders, artists, coders, storytellers, and anyone curious enough to ask, “What if?”

On October 4–5, 2025, you’ll join a vibrant local community of participants to tackle real-world challenges using NASA’s open data. Whether you're designing an app, building a prototype, crafting a story, or analyzing satellite data — your ideas could spark real change.

You don’t need to be a space expert. All you need is curiosity, a willingness to collaborate, and a drive to make a difference. Over the course of the two-day hackathon, you’ll gain hands-on experience in creative problem-solving, teamwork, coding, design thinking, storytelling, and presenting your ideas. You’ll learn from mentors, connect with like-minded peers, and push yourself beyond the classroom or office into a world of global innovation.
