MXARQ was founded by Vivivano Villarreal who previously worked with seArch Architects, and currently works for OMA in Hong Kong. In mid 2009 Carlos Davila joined MXARQ after returning from New York where he worked for Rafael Viñoly Architects. At that same time Marcelo Najera also joined MXARQ after returning from New York having finished his Masters in Architecture from Columbia University.
