Yet most organisations — from university canteens to corporates with sustainability targets — have no visibility into the footprint of the food they serve or buy. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗻 evaluates every dish on a menu — carbon, water, and land footprint — using scientific Life-Cycle Analysis across 400+ base ingredients, and turns it into clear labels placed right next to the food. No app, no lecture — just information, at the point of choice. Piloted at the University of Twente: over 90% of participants wanted to reduce their food's footprint, 1 in 3 changed their choice after seeing the label, and 88% asked for it across the whole canteen. 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗘𝗧𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹 takes the same rigour upstream. Under CSRD and ESRS E1, food procurement sits in Scope 3 Category 1 — data almost no organisation currently has. PLANETmeal turns procurement and menu data into ingredient-level CO₂, water, and land figures, plus an EAT-Lancet alignment score, so caterers and ESG teams get audit-ready numbers instead of estimates. Together, our tools give operators, caterers, universities, and corporates the means to make sustainability visible — and give the people who eat there the freedom to choose it for themselves.
