Michiel Boesveldt (1984) is specialized in editing (feature) films, documentaries and commercials. He studied at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy, from which he graduated as a qualified film editor in 2007. His graduation film 'Daddy is gone...and left me puzzled' received the Pathe Tushinski Award and was shown at the Netherlands Film Festival and the IDFA. After his studies Michiel worked on a variety of projects. He was first assistent editor of TV series like 'Amsterdam en Vele Anderen' 'Deadline', 'Flikken Maastricht', 'De Co-Assistent' and 'Klein Holland'. He furthermore co-edited a number of documentaries, such as 'Benjamin, Gracias a la Vida' and 'Instant Happiness'. He edited commercials, music videos and various television programmes. Michiel was also responsible for editing the short feature film 'Off Road', 'Beloved' 'Burn' and 'Brother's Keeper'. These films received a number of awards, such as the Shocking Short Award at the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht. Michiel works in his own editing studio in his hometown Amsterdam.
