About MADMA urbanism AND landscape

MADMA is an international, interdisciplinary practice based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, specialising in urban and landscape design.

We see ‘sustainability’ and ‘biodiversity’ as the basis of landscape design, but NOT as the ultimate goal. MADMA’s landscapes bring smiles as well as tears, reflecting the complex emotions that nature inspires in us. For us, landscapes serve a deeper purpose than simply making people and environment ‘feel good’. We are dedicated to enhancing the wonder and mystery of nature and integrating it seamlessly into our everyday lives.
