About LIVWEL

LIVWEL is a design-led, non-clinical initiative that helps older people, including those with dementia, age well at home. We focus on the home environment, which we view as a ‘care partner’ in its own right. We gradually adapt it with evidence-based design and assistive technology over 12–24 months. This process is guided by a trained ‘woon coach’ who builds a trusted relationship with the individual and their family.
