About Life Long Running

‘Life Long Running’ originally started as an idea in 2014, shared by Jasper Reenalda and Marcel van der Kuil. Later on, a project called 'Life Long Running' was started out of Roessingh Research and Development (RRD). as a follow-up to the project called 'MeasuRun', which had also been started out of RRD, in 2012. In August 2015, 'Life Long Running' has been founded as a 'stichting' (Dutch for 'foundation'), by Edgar Cukier, Jasper Reenalda and Erik Maartens.This legal entity has been selected to provide the right structure to gather financials means, in order to fund scientific research and R&D, for all types of running and runners. The 'stichting' also matches our long term commitment.
