Lectoraat Autonomie en Participatie van chronisch zieken

Het lectoraat Autonomie en Participatie van mensen met een chronische ziekte voert activiteiten uit die ertoe bijdragen dat mensen met langdurige en complexe zorgvragen het leven kunnen leiden dat ze graag willen leiden. De onderzoeksprojecten het lectoraat van de faculteit Gezondheidszorg van Zuyd Hogeschool worden samen met zorgprofessionals, docenten en studenten uitgevoerd. Betrokken professionals zijn verpleegkundigen, ergotherapeuten, logopedisten, fysiotherapeuten en biometristen. Cliënten worden hier zoveel mogelijk bij betrokken. De resultaten van het onderzoek worden meteen gebruikt in de dagelijkse zorg en in het onderwijs van de gezondheidszorgopleidingen van Zuyd Hogeschool.

"We zijn bij het lectoraat wetenschappelijke doeners. Onderzoeken doen we netjes volgens de regels van de kunst, maar de praktijk moet er behoefte aan hebben, anders doen we het niet."

Research Centre for Autonomy and Participation for Persons with a Chronic Illness

A Research Centre stimulates the development, transfer and exchange of knowledge as well as the innovation of study programmes through applied research activities for companies and institutions. We do research that can contribute that people with complex care demands can live the satisfactory life that they want. Within our research centre we perform projects in close collaboration with the working field, teachers, students. Professionals involved are nurses, occupational therapist, speech therapists, biometrics and physiotherapists. Clients are involved as much as possible. The results of the research are immediately used in the daily healthcare and in the healthcare education of Zuyd University.
