Welcome to the homepage of the Dutch Bailliage of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs. The Dutch Bailliage is part of the worldwide organisation of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, which has its headquarters in Paris. More than 25,000 people from over 70 countries are members of the Confrérie. Founded in the early 1950s, the Dutch Bailliage of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is the oldest culinary organisation in our country. Its membership includes both professional members, such as hotels and restaurants, and non-professional members. This distinguishes the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs from other culinary organisations.

All Bailliages worldwide periodically organise events in the form of lunches and dinners in the better restaurants where “something special” happens in the kitchen. As a rule, meals are eaten at affiliated professional members or at restaurants that intend to become part of the Confrérie. The menu and dishes are specially composed for the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

In addition to participating in events organised in the Netherlands, members of the Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs are entitled to participate in all Grand Chapitres organised worldwide by the various Bailliages. A Chapitre is a multi-day event with an emphasis on both culinary delights and cultural matters.
