Kotoba with Arrow is a long-term personal media project documenting my journey into the world of languages, culture, and meaningful human connection.

The project begins here, in the Netherlands, with the decision to learn Japanese from the ground up, with the idea of eventually expanding into other Asian languages and the cultures that surround them. Rather than waiting until I "know enough," I want to preserve the process itself: the small victories, the mistakes, the conversations, the places, and the people that shape the journey.

As my understanding grows, so will the project. What starts as documenting language learning will naturally evolve into interviews, travel, cultural exploration, documentaries, and authentic conversations. Every step forward opens another door.

Kotoba with Arrow isn't about pretending to have all the answers. It's about showing what genuine curiosity looks like over years, not weeks.

If this project succeeds, I hope it inspires others to pick up a language, step into an unfamiliar culture, and discover that the most rewarding part of learning isn't memorizing words, it's connecting with people.
