About Kubit Furniture

We wanted to make an authentic Amsterdam product; something that’s made by the people and with materials of Amsterdam for the people of Amsterdam. This way we want to give the citizens and admirers of this beautiful city the chance to have a their own little piece of Amsterdam in their home. For us it’s very important that our production is done in a way that respects nature and society. Social responsibility is an essential aspect of our company and it characterizes our production process. Our product is made from Stadshout, wood that derives from trees within the city of Amsterdam. Annually thousands of trees are cut down in the city, before these trees where fragmented into woodchips. We want to give these trees a dignified second life. We manufacture our product in a sheltered workplace in Amsterdam. This way we invest in people with a distance to normal labor market. Our Kubit is a cube on wheels with a cushion on top that can be used in several ways. How? We leave that up to you!
