About Kleynen Consultants

Kleynen Consultants is an independent Dutch firm working with insurers, pension funds and other regulated organisations.

Our work sits in three areas:

Software. We build production-ready software and AI systems, including policy administration systems, claims management applications, participant portals, document processing tools and internal AI agents.

Governance. We help organisations use software and AI in a controlled way, with attention to the EU AI Act, ISO 42001, ISO 27001 and DORA.

Actuarial support. We work on pension administration, IFRS 17, Solvency II, the Dutch pension reform, premium models, technical provisions and portfolio analysis.

These may sound like separate areas, but in practice they often meet in the same systems.

The calculations have to be right. The software has to work. And the organisation needs to stay in control of how those systems are built, used and maintained.

That is why this combination makes sense to us.
