Kenzo Alvares (28) learns the power of dancing and music at a very young age when seeking to strike root in life. Whenever or wherever you are. In hindsight, it has been one of his most valuable insights, considering he’s been traveling the globe, giving workshops and performances wherever he goes.

Kenzo’s born in Utrecht but bred in his father’s dance studio. Being in motion, both literally and figuratively has always been one of the major themes his life revolved around. In the midst of this dancing hustle and bustle the amazing scope of Kenzo’s dancing skills soon became clear.

It’s simply a matter of course when Kenzo decides to chase all of his dancing dreams by enrolling in a performing arts course after high school. What follows is an extremely creative stretch of time during which Kenzo not only gets to maximize his development as a dancer and choreographer but also seizes those same growing opportunities for both his network and international fame. His frequent participation in international battles, workshops and masterclasses officially puts him on the dancing map and together with his crew ‘The Kulture Kids’ he then dances his way into the spotlight.

After graduation, dance keeps holding its lead role in Kenzo’s life. Thanks to his unprecedented popularity the focus shifts from solely dancing to teaching and sharing knowledge too though. He focuses on teaching youngsters the value of such a primary expression form as dance through classes and workshops at Dutch institutions such as Toucheé Dance Company, Global Dance Center and the ROC. The latter being the place where he’s kickstarted his own highly successful career.

The audience knows Kenzo from his role as a choreographer and coach in nationally broadcasted TV shows such as Everybody Dance Now!, DanceDanceDance and Battle On The Dancefloor but also through his as a finalist in Everbody Dance Now!, his own theater show called ‘Piece Of Mind’ and dance camps and events across the globe.
