We are a subsidiary of KATO WORKS CO., LTD, a leading Japanese construction machinery company. KATO EUROPE B.V. is based in the Netherlands.

KATO EUROPE B.V. is a wholly owned subsidiary of KATO WORKS CO., LTD. We are based in Utrecht, the Netherlands and offer a wide range of products for the European market. Our mother company KATO WORKS CO., LTD. is a major Japanese construction machinery manufacturer with a history of more than 120 years since its foundation. KATO manufactures and sells various high quality products such as mobile cranes and hydraulic excavators. Since our establishment, KATO has valued creativity and challenged the limits of technological innovation with a pioneering spirit. Starting with the diesel engines we designed in the early 20th century, we have continued to develop truck cranes, hydraulic excavators, rough terrain cranes and all terrain cranes that have revolutionized the construction machinery industry. Over the years, the KATO brand has won customers' trust worldwide as a technology-oriented manufacturer with a wealth of experience and a solid track record. To expand our brand, KATO acquired IHI Construction Machinery Limited in 2016, which merged with KATO in 2018. KATO newly added mini excavators to it’s product line and continues to move forward.

KATO EUROPE B.V. was established in 2018 in order to expand KATO’s business activities in Europe. Our goal is to provide high quality products and after-sales service to our valued European customers.
