KASSL Editions was founded in Amsterdam in 2018, as an outerwear brand with a genderless, durable and functional ethos and commitment to radical quality. A counterpoint to an era of excess and overproduction, the brand’s manufacturing operation began in Kassel, the central German city best known for its Documenta contemporary art festival, using the same facilities that supply the German national fire brigade with its near-indestructible outerwear. Seasonal collections have since evolved significantly to encompass bags, accessories and selected homeware.
