Kantisto BV is a specialised scientific consultancy based in the Netherlands, focusing on (bio)pharmaceutical analysis and Analytical Quality by Design (AQbD). We provide expert advice, consultancy, training, and coaching to enhance analytical development and quality control across all stages of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical development.

Our expertise covers method development and validation, analytical procedure control strategies, troubleshooting, and regulatory alignment with ICH Q14 and ICH Q2(R2). We specialise in Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and support clients in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust analytical methods. With decades of combined academic and industry experience, Kantisto delivers pragmatic, personalised solutions tailored to each client’s needs.

The company was founded by Prof. Dr. Cari E. Sänger – van de Griend, an expert with 30 years of industrial and academic experience in method development, control strategies, and AQbD, and Dr. Ewoud van Tricht, who brings over 20 years of industry experience in analytical development, Quality Control, and AQbD. Their backgrounds span small molecules, viruses, and cell therapies, with experience at leading companies such as Janssen Vaccines and Sanofi Cell Therapy.

Kantisto offers both short-term and long-term services across Europe and worldwide. Our public and in-company training courses, as well as custom consultancy projects, address the evolving demands of the (bio)pharmaceutical sector. We prioritise knowledge sharing, best practices, and regulatory compliance to help clients achieve analytical excellence.
