JVS Noise & Vibration Engineers are specialized in measuring and calculating of the vibration and noise levels for both industrial and maritime installations. From large industrial generators to small pump-sets and from mega-yachts to barges. JVS possesses the expertise, experience and tools to solve a wide variety of issues.

Vibration Drive-train components are becoming lighter and lighter whilst the power demanded is increased each time. As a result the drive-train installation becomes more prone to vibrate with possible damage as a result. The JVS approach is to engineer the vibration aspect in advance and define what is required to prevent excessive vibration.

At existing installations it is possible to conduct vibration measurements which provide the best possible insight into the components vibration behaviour, both for linear as well as torsional vibration.

Noise Based on our vast experience in combination with the drawings provided by you we can provide you with a Q&D scan to verify whether the suggested countermeasures result in fulfilment of the requirements. Detailed Engineering is required to determine which specific solutions are to be adopted to further ascertain compliancy.

At the moment the industrial installation or vessel is up noise and vibration measurements can be conducted to determine whether or not requirements are met. At that moment when the requirements are exceeded JVS can, in close cooperation with the customer, look for a solution.

Engineering Based on a combination of calculations and years of experience our engineers are capable of providing you with an advise so the sound and vibration problems are prevented before the installation is erected. In most cases it is also possible to provide the customer with a solution for existing situations.
