Because we all like to share presents and buy drinks with our friends, because we’re all too busy to manage our social expenses properly and because we don’t like to wait for our money until we’ve forgotten about it, we invented JARS. JARS is an app-based service that allows you to manage your social expenses in a clear and fast way. By joining JARS you create your own virtual Jar with money. You can connect it to those of your friends. In this network, small amounts of money can travel between jars. So if you paid the bill at a restaurant, open the app and directly take the money back from the friends that joined that dinner. The split amount will be transferred from their Jars into yours. You can fill your Jar from your credit card or iDeal and empty it directly back to your bank account. We see JARS as our own Miss Moneypenny, to which we added a bunch of new technologies and a touch of logic. In the end we are making your social finances a bit more fun and a lot more structured.
