Documentary lifestyle photographer specialized in documenting days in your personal or company lifes. Every day, no matter how special or how ordinary has it's own story. Like a wedding is (at least in my opinion) not about saying yes or the kiss but more about the people making the day, a funeral is not about sad people but about love, comforting and sharing memories and the story about a brand is not about a logo or a product but the story behind it all. After graduating at the Photo Academy (Amsterdam), it took me a while to find out in which direction I wanted to head next. There are so many different directions to pick from and photography is so amazing! By now it has become quite clear to me: I love to capture people, moments, and feelings in a documentary way. It is wonderful to be able to do an assignment for a magazine with just that as a goal (and you get to travel an meet interesting people!), but I also love taking pictures at weddings. Although I should actually not say that out loud. It's 'Not done'​ if you've studied at the Photo Academy...but I'm still doing it, and enjoying it a lot!
