About Inclusive AI Lab

We are a Global South-led initiative incubating global leaders and advancing inclusive, responsible, and sustainable AI tools, policies, and systems, by leveraging synergies between the North-South.

Our global fellows are changemakers across civic, business, policy, creative, and cultural sectors, serving as bridge builders in North–South and South–South collaborations to shape AI futures that work for all.

Our work is grounded in a simple premise: the most pressing challenges in AI are social as much as technical. Regulation alone cannot deliver meaningful change. Transformation must also emerge from within institutions, industries, and design processes. We therefore bridge academia, civil society, government, and the technology sector to cultivate new forms of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Through research, executive education, fellowships, and applied partnerships, we help organizations align AI with contemporary social and environmental values while empowering professionals to become translators, listeners, and changemakers within their own fields.

Together with partners including ITS Rio, Adobe, Google, UNHCR, IDRC, AlgorithmWatch, General Electric, KPMG, IDEO, and the British Council, we are building a more representative, responsible, and globally connected AI ecosystem.
