About IJPOS IJmuiden Port Services

IJmuiden Port Services (IJPOS) consists of a group of service companies in the (open) port area of IJmuiden and the ports of Velsen-Noord and Beverwijk (de Pijp). The seaport of IJmuiden is one of the largest ports directly on the North Sea. It also acts as the gateway to the North Sea Canal towards Amsterdam and is closely located to Schiphol, the international airport. All companies are located close to each other, providing a one-stop-shop for the shipping, fishery, offshore (energy) industries and wind farms: from hydraulics to towage, from fishery and waste handling to diving services and from steel fabrication to electrical and electronic installations. Related non-engineering services including surveys and supply of hydrographic and navigation equipment are also offered.
