About IDH Invest

IDH Invest is IDH’s integrated impact investment arm that specialises in developing investable opportunities and managing high-impact funds to achieve market transformation at scale and close the agri-financing gap. A great example of this is the IDH Farmfit Fund which provides de-risking financial instruments for smallholder farmer related financing transactions by catalysing capital to co-invest in the sector. We specifically focus on transformative projects with higher risk profiles. Our deep understanding of agri value chains and extensive partner network put us in a unique position as fund managers – leveraging both public sector financial support and field-level insights through IDH Intelligence. By actively working with agri SMEs and other value chain actors, like MFIs, we identify and develop impactful investment opportunities. We engage with our investees on impact, ESG risk management and their service deliver to farmers and general business model – with the possibility of Technical Assistance funding for capacity development. Sharing lessons learned and disseminating insights in the market to trigger further investments in the agri sector.
