About HZ Solarboat

The Solar boat started in 2009 by a group of enthusiastic students of different educational programs who wanted to fill their free composition course points in a special way. Eventually this became the solarboat project.

The project about the solar boat of the Hz (named Sealander) was restarted last year. This was done after it had been stopped since 2011. The team of last year had a first goal; picking up the project and redefining the boat so that it is ready to race again.

The goal of the solar boat project is to give students a chance to run free in inventing and developing new techniques on the base of Green energy and innovating techniques. Besides it is important to be able to attempt a piece yourself, seen the fact that money is needed to be able to perform a project such as this.
