GEEC was founded in 1998. Based on the accumulation of long-term research on battery detection and battery management technology, with a deep understanding of battery characteristics, failure mechanism and life attenuation, GEEC has developed a unique self-learning battery status calculation technology and bidirectional active equalization technology, in the battery status SOX calculation and battery active balancing technology takes a leading position in the industry. At the same time, GEEC has independently developed the front-end acquisition and active equalization chips of the battery management system, and are developing battery sensor technology and products. GEEC has 240 employees in the company, 80 employees work in R&D teams, has been certified for both ISO9000 and ISO16949 quality management system certificates in 2003 and 2016 respectively. Based on the V-shape R&D framework, a complete development process and quality management system have been established to effectively ensure product and system quality. In September 2017, GEEC passed the 3rd level confidentiality assessment and certification. GEEC can perform environmental, electromagnetic compatibility, reliability and durability testing, taking into account the entire test environment and equipment.

GEEC has delivered 10 GWh of the energy storage BMS over the past 12 months, including applications such as Frequency Containment Reserve (FCR) and Peak Regulation of Peak Shaving and Time/Load Shifting.
